We are a not-for-profit organisation dedicated to safeguarding children and vulnerable individuals with the highest ethical and professional standards. We work with organisations engaging with children, helping them strengthen their safeguarding practices through expert guidance and support. Our team has extensive experience in both statutory and non-statutory settings, making life-changing decisions to protect those in need.
Mark Bramah, the sponsor of BSI PAS 5222 Safeguarding Children in Out of School Settings, has been instrumental in our mission. This Community Interest Company (CIC) is set up to support organisations that are unable to find the financial resources to access expertise in the safeguarding arena.
Mission Statement Bramah Safeguarding’s mission is to support organisations across the UK in achieving certification against the BSI PAS 5222:2024 standard, ensuring they provide the highest safeguarding practices for children in out-of-school settings. This British Standard offers a structured, step-by-step framework to safeguarding, and we are committed to helping organisations adopt its principles through education, auditing, training, and mentoring.
As a Community Interest Company, we are dedicated to child safeguarding rather than profit. Our goal is to create a self-sustaining organisation that drives continuous improvement in safeguarding practices. We work with organisations, including charities and those unable to find the financial resources, to ensure they comply with PAS 5222:2024, making child safety a top priority. Any profits we generate are reinvested into the community and our mission, advancing the application of the PAS 5222 standard across the UK.
