PGL sets new benchmark for Safeguarding with industry leading certification

Bramah HR is proud to announce that PGL has become the first organisation to be certified under the new BSI PAS 5222: Safeguarding In Out Of School Settings standard, following a comprehensive audit conducted by Bramah HR. This landmark certification solidifies PGL’s commitment to safeguarding individuals and maintaining the highest standards of safety and protection within their operations.

The BSI PAS 5222 standard provides a robust framework for organisations to prevent abuse and ensure the well-being of vulnerable individuals. It sets out best practices for implementing safeguarding measures that protect individuals from harm, abuse, and neglect. As the official auditing body, Bramah HR meticulously assessed PGL’s policies and procedures to ensure they meet the rigorous requirements outlined by the standard.

“We are thrilled to certify PGL as the first company to achieve the BSI PAS 5222 Safeguarding Children standard, “said Mark Bramah, Director of Safeguarding & People Operations at Bramah HR. “PGL has demonstrated exemplary dedication to the rigorous safeguarding audit. The certification marks a significant step forward for the industry in adopting safeguarding measures as a core business priority.”

Bramah HR’s rigorous audit process involved an in-depth review of PGL’s safeguarding policies, risk management strategies, and employee training programs. This certification confirms that PGL has established comprehensive procedures to protect individuals from abuse and to foster a safe organisational culture.

“We encourage more organisations to follow PGL’s lead and adopt the BSI PAS 5222 standard to prioritize safeguarding within their operations,” added Mark Bramah “Our goal at Bramah HR is to promote the highest standards of protection across all sectors, and PGL’s achievement is an important milestone in this journey.”
