Ellen Roome is an internationally recognized Internet Safety campaigner and the founder of Jools’ Law, a movement dedicated to protecting children in the digital age. Following the tragic loss of her son, Ellen has become a leading advocate for systemic change in online safety, working tirelessly to ensure that technology platforms are held accountable for safeguarding young lives.

Ellen brings a wealth of understanding around child safeguarding, combining lived experience with policy expertise. Her work has influenced national conversations on tech regulation, data preservation, and algorithmic harm. Through Jools’ Law, Ellen has successfully driven parliamentary debate and collaborated with MPs, bereaved families, and safeguarding professionals to push for stronger protections.

Her mission is clear: to raise safeguarding standards globally. Ellen believes that safeguarding must evolve alongside technology, and she is committed to shaping strategies that protect children both offline and online. As a member of Bramah CIC’s Advisory Board, Ellen contributes her insight and determination to help organizations meet the highest standards of care and accountability.
